Test sessions in Utah showed that both larger and smaller riders could easily adjust the bike to their preferences using simple tweaks. The MX250’s 37.5hp rear-wheel output ensures robust performance suitable for most riders.

Its capabilities shine on the track, and the 6-speed transmission adds to its off-road fun and versatility, distinguishing it from the common 5-speed 250Fs.

The 249cc DOHC, EFI engine of the Kove MX250, a product of collaboration between Kove and Zongshen, stands out for its unique design and easy start-up, hot or cold, via electric start. While it may look similar to other engines, Kove’s input is significant, including a custom-designed crankshaft, billet connecting rod, lighter flywheel, and stator. The improved cylinder head, piston, and camshafts raise the compression ratio to 14:1. Additionally, the enhanced clutch features more plates and superior materials, and the slimmer engine cases offer better control and foot access. This engine is distinctly different from other Zongshen NC250/300 motors.
