This bike will not replace or outperform your gas dirt bike but it will allow you to ride in areas you could not otherwise due to noise. riding with the kids becomes easier, bombing around the camp site, ripping in the backyard and even some urban adventures become possible without resorting to a glorified mountain bike. The power system in the Ares doubles that of a Surron or Talaria at 12.5kw verses 5-7kw. Ares is equipped with 3 power modes 1- turtle for leisurely riding at maximum range 2 - rabbit for blasting around trails and 3 - rocket mode for a 10 second duration big power launches or sweet wheelies. The rims and hubs are all aluminum with straight pull spokes, the frame and all components are very well made and mostly aluminum. The seat flips up allowing the removal of the battery pack and even has a nice netted area under the seat for storage of a jacket or cargo roll. Fast charging allows you to get 80% charge within 2 hours.display shows ride mode and battery life.
